As well as supporting families with the essentials they need for their children throughout the year, at Christmas we work closely with our referral partners to identify families in need of additional support to deliver Christmas magic.

More families than ever before are struggling the rising energy prices and the cost of living. We know families feel stretched to deliver even a simple family Christmas and this challenge will be felt more than ever. Love, Amelia is here to ensure that no child in our community has to think that Santa has forgotten them.
This year, we expect to be our busiest yet with a record number of requests, but the number of gifts we distribute will depend on how much support we receive from the community. Our Elves are ready to get to work but we need your help!
How you can help
The cost-of-living crisis has only amplified the need for support, making this Christmas appeal more crucial than ever before. Here is how you can get involved and make sure no child wakes up thinking Santa has forgotten them.
Donate a Gift
Donating a toy, game or special gift for a child can help make their Christmas magical. Gifts are given to children from birth up to 18 years old, as well as a small gift for their parent/carer to give the family a Christmas they deserve.
We politely request for gifts to be unwrapped
Pledge Funds
Pledging funds is a vitally important way to help us deliver our Christmas project to over 1000 children and their families.
This will ensure no child wakes up heartbroken thinking Santa has forgotten them again. Funds can help us to buy for children who may not receive a gift and ensure we can provide the extra special touches which make a Christmas magical
Fundraise
Get together with your friends, family, work colleagues and do something special to raise money for our festive campaign or collect gifts.
You could organise a bake sale, a Christmas jumper competition or a Christmas fancy dress day. No matter what you decide to do, you can have fun together.

Donating Gifts
We kindly ask that all gifts are donated by Wednesday 10th December 2025. Gifts will be distributed throughout December to ensure they arrive with the family in plenty of time for Christmas. Please leave gifts unwrapped, although we welcome rolls of wrapping paper as we include a roll in each child’s gift bag.
Gifts can be dropped off at our unit – 3 Glaholm Road, Hendon, Sr1 2NX
Need help this Christmas?
If you need help with providing gifts to your children this Christmas, please don’t be scared to reach out, there is a whole community who want to help you. We work on a referral basis, which means any professional working with you can ask for support with gifts on your behalf. Please reach out to your health visitor, midwife, social worker, support worker or children’s school and talk to them about your concerns. They will be able to support you by submitting a referral request

If you are a professional working with a family who needs help this Christmas, please submit a referral form using the button below. It’s a good idea to ask for each child’s wishes and interests. Here at Love, Amelia, we carefully select each gift based on the child’s wishes and do our very best to match their Christmas list. This really helps us to keep the magic of Christmas alive. Please ensure you submit all of your Christmas referrals by Monday 1st December, any referrals made after this time will not be fulfilled. We’re working with significantly high numbers this year, please submit your referrals as soon as possible to ensure we can support you.
