Love, Amelia's Mothers Day campaign 2024
Being a Mam can be the hardest job in the world as you have to be everything to your children, with very little time for yourself. Mother’s Day is the one day set aside each year to celebrate Mams for the amazing job they do. This year we are running our 5th Mother’s Day campaign, with the aim of providing a small gift to mams who would otherwise be without.
Here at Love, Amelia we are witnessing first hand the impact the cost of living crisis is having on local families, with many struggling with the continuously rising prices and energy bills. We know the mams we work with are amazing and give so much to their children, even in the most difficult of circumstances, often putting their needs last and going without in order to provide for their children.
We need your help...
The mams we support are those who would otherwise be without acknowledgement on Mother’s Day. This may be due to limited social networks and lack of family support, mam’s recently arriving in the UK, mams living in a refuge or experiencing poverty and unable to afford gifts for treats for themselves.
We are currently asking for donations of gifts, pamper packs and accessories which can be used in our Mother’s Day gift packs. You may happen to have an unwanted gift set from Christmas sitting in the draw at home, or waiting to be regifted. Why not pass it on to a mam though our Mother’s day project!

The cost-of-living crisis has only amplified the need for support, making this Mother’s Day appeal more crucial than ever before. Here is how you can get involved and make sure no mam’s are left without a gift on Mother’s Day
Donate a gift
Donating a gift set will help to make a mother’s day. If you are unable to drop off at our unit, you can order from our Amazon wish list in the comfort of your home or on the go.
Pledge funds
Pledging funds is a vitally important way to help us deliver our Mother’s Day project. This will ensure no mam’s feel forgotten about or not acknowledged for the amazing work they do every day.
Organise a collection
Organise a collection of gifts between your friends and family, or even school or workplace. Spread the word with colleagues and friends and ask them to donate any unwanted gifts sets left over from Christmas
We can offer you a poster for your work place if needed if needed
We kindly ask for donations to be with us by 26th February to ensure we can distribute gifts in time for Mother’s Day.
